South Korean cosmetics manufacturer Able C&C Co. said Thursday it opened four shops for its flagship brand Missha in the South Pacific island of Fiji.

Missha by Able C&C, once the country’s leading fast cosmetics brand with a short product development cycle, is also considering venturing into neighboring Papua New Guina, New Caledonia and Vanuatu depending on its performance in Fiji. The company’s efforts to seek new business opportunities abroad comes after it has lost ground to latecomers including its bigger rivals like AmorePacific in the local market.

The company said it has opened two Missha stores in Fiji’s capital city Suva and two others in Nadi and Lautoka, each.

The first shop opened in Damadar City Center, a shopping complex near the University of the South Pacific, making it a hot spot among young students.

The second shop is situated in Mid City, an upscale shopping district resided by many wealthy professionals.

The third one is settled in the center of Nadi’s commercial area near Koreatown and an international airport. The fourth one is in Lautoka, a newly established commercial district pushed by the Fiji government.

Able C&C aims to dazzle Fiji consumers with its extensive arsenal of makeup lines, including BB cream, eye shadow and lipstick, according to the company.
