South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc. announced on Wednesday it has hired American home furnishing designer Jonathan Adler to head marketing of its high-end home appliance SIGNATURE brand in the United States.

LG Electronics invited interior and fashion designers for a LG SIGNATURE product exhibition mixed with Adler’s furniture and home designing at the designer’s showroom in New York.

SIGNATURE product line includes LG’s signature OLED-screen TVs, washing machines, refrigerators, and air purifier and humidifiers.

Adler, a famous potter and designer, runs his namesake lifestyle brand stores. He earned his public fame for designing TV drama sets like “Sex and the City” and “Will & Grace” and was a judge to the reality television series “Top Design”.

From the upcoming September, LG SIGNATURE products will be displayed at ten Jonathan Adler showrooms in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, etc.
