South Korea’s LG Electronics announced on Monday it will launch LG SIGNATURE refrigerators with a transparent knock-on magic space in 50 countries by the end of this year.

The company’s premium refrigerator is already available in Spain.

The refrigerator features the world`s first transparent knock-on magic space where knocking on the door two times allows users to see what`s inside without opening the door. This minimizes the number of times the door is opened and reduces the escape of cold air by 41 percent.

The knock on function was first applied to LG SIGNATURE refrigerators launched in Korea in March and will be applied to new DIOS refrigerators next month.
