Samsung Electronics has redefined the high endurance memory card market with New PRO Endurance microSDHC¢â/microSDXC¢â Card, which can store 43,800 consecutive hours of Full HD video.

The South Korean tech giant said on Wednesday that because the 128 gigabyte (GB) edition of PRO Endurance can save videos consecutively for five years, users do not need to frequently check its remaining storage capacity like other security solutions on the market.

The PRO Endurance will be released in around 50 countries, including South Korea, the United States, China and Germany.

The Samsung PRO Endurance delivers read speeds of up to 100 MB/s and provides FHD recording and 4K support via write speeds of up to 30 MB/s. It also comes with an industry-leading warranty of up to five years, and sets a new standard for capacity with its 128GB of storage.

The card also withstands temperatures ranging from minus 25 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius. Samsung said the card can protect data from external influences including X-rays and electromagnetic shock waves, optimized for use in security cameras and automobile dash cams.

"Through the PRO Endurance line, which boasts the industry`s top endurance, users will be able to manage data more conveniently and safely," said Un-Soo Kim, senior vice president of Brand Product Marketing, Memory Business at Samsung Electronics.
