À̹ÌÁö È®´ë Samsung Electronics has sent out invitations for Aug. 23 unpacking of next phablet succeeding the ill-fated Galaxy Note7.
A teaser image showed the outline of a phone that looks similar to the shape of the Galaxy S8 with a phrase, ¡°Do bigger things,¡± indicating the upcoming model is the Galaxy Note 8. It also showed a blue stylus, a key feature of Samsung¡¯s Note line.
The event will take place at Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan, New York, and about 2,000 participants are expected to show up, a turnout similar to that of the Unpack event for the Galaxy S8 last March held at New York City¡¯s Lincoln Center.
Live streaming of the event will be available at
www.samsung.com and Samsung Newsroom.
Rumors say that the Galaxy Note 8 will have a larger 6.3 to 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 3840¡¿2160 pixels of resolution, dual rear cameras and 6GB of RAM.
The S pen may come with an embedded speaker.
