À̹ÌÁö È®´ë South Korea¡¯s telecommunications equipment maker Dasan Networks Inc. this month will release luxury phones of Italy-based Tonino Lamborghini Style and Accessories that are estimated to cost nearly $3,000 apiece in the Korean market and elsewhere.
According to industry sources on Sunday, Dasan Networks in July last year secured an exclusive right to market Tonino Lamborghini¡¯s mobile devices across the world through its affiliate Korasia. Under the deal, the company develops and manufactures high-end smartphone dubbed as Lamborghini mobile lineup. Korasia will be marketing the phones.
The phone with a price tag nearly doubling that of an Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone will be primarily targeting super-rich in Russia and Middle Eastern countries, the company said.
The details of the new smartphone are unknown but industry watchers expect the smartphone will adopt Tonino Lamborghini¡¯s symbolic bold and metallic appearance.
Tonino Lamborghini Style and Accessories was founded in 1981 by Tonino Lamborghini, son of Italian supercar maker Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.¡¯s founder Ferruccio Lamborghini. It offers luxury fashion items like watches and sunglasses as well as specially designed smartphones for exclusive clients.
