Microsoft Korea has unveiled a new version of Office 365, a cloud platform for corporate clients that is armed with artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help raise business efficiency.

At a press conference held at the company¡¯s head office building in Jongno, central Seoul on Monday, Microsoft Korea said that it aims to launch a new version of Office 365 in the local market that will be managed by its two local data centers that opened in Seoul and Busan. Office 365, which was first launched in 2011, is a cloud platform that allows its users to have access to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents any time any place.

The latest version includes new chat-based workspace Microsoft Teams, MyAnalytics that is a personal analytics service designed to help raise productivity at work, and Designer that pitches ideas to improve PowerPoint slides.

In particular, MS Teams allows corporate employees to share documents through the Office 365, work together, and have real-time chats. MyAnalytics provides work management support by analyzing personal patterns of Office 365 usage. Designer presents ideas for PowerPoint slides including title and content which helps save time. The new features function based on big data technology MS Graph.
